CPR Training May Save A Life

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Jan. 5, 2009— Learn the skills to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies at the CPR for Family and Friends class at Southern Hills Medical Center. The class is designed for non-clinical people who want to make a difference in a healthcare emergency.

Knowing CPR and what to do in the initial moments of a health crisis can make a life and death difference. When performed by a bystander, CPR is designed to support and maintain breathing and circulation until emergency medical personnel arrive and take over.

The three-hour session is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2009 starting at 8 a.m. in the hospital’s Main Entrance Conference Center. Participants will be trained in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Advance registration is required. Call TriStar MedLineSM at 342-1919 to make your reservation. The class is $10 per person.
